SBI Credit Card Balance Transfer: Pay any Credit Card Bill with other Credit Card, this feature which SBI provide you is the best option in SBI App. There is a balance transfer option is the best option which is currently available in the app in which no matter what type of credit card you have. You can easily pay the bill of any credit card without any issue.

So, in this article will see how I will pay HDFC bank credit card bill which is registered on some other name, and I will do the bill payment for that credit card with my SBI credit card through this Sbi mobile app.

Note: It is not mandatory to have both credit cards on the same name. As I mentioned earlier the court can differ from person to person. Suppose my name is Vickey and I want to pay Vijay credit card who is not even my relative then easily I can pay his credit card bill from this balance transfer method which is available in this Sbi App.

SBI Credit Card Balance Transfer Steps:

Follow the below steps to pay your credit card bill from SBI balance transfer method. All the screenshots and images are listed down below with each step so that you can follow and do not have any confusion.

Step 1: Open Sbi app as you can see, please update to the latest version so that you can see the exact screen as of mine. Once you see the screen at the bottom of the screen, you can see there is “EMI and more option.” Just click on that.

Step 2: In the below image as you can see, I am eligible for balance transfer. So, the balance transfer option is available here. In any case if you are not eligible then you can’t do the balance transfer so, please check before proceeding with this article.

Note: from here in the below steps, we can see there are two options to do the balance transfer. So, first option is #1) balance transfer, and second option is #2) balance transfer on EMI so will have a look one by one.

Balance Transfer:

Step 3A: The bill which I want to pay on my HDFC card is 74,000 and as you can see in the below image that in SBI credit card, I have an option to transfer 74,000. So, depending on the requirement select the amount and then proceed further. Remember I have selected the first option here in my case what is the balance transfer.

Step 3B: in the next window, you can see that I can do balance transfer for 180 days or 60 days so depending on the requirement, you can select your preferred tenure. I select for 180 days. Then I have to pay interest rate of my total amount that is 1.70%. But if I select for 60 days then there will be a minimum amount of 1480 which I have to pay to SBI bank credit card and also this is just the processing fee amount later the GST also will be added.

Once you selected all these details, enter the card number which you want to transfer and automatically as you can see depending on the card number it will pop-up you the bank name.

Step 3C: once you select all the details will be visible here, as you can see that I have selected for 180 days, and my interest rate is 1.70% and processing fee zero and the transfer will be done on NEFT. Agree, the terms and conditions and proceed further.

Balance Transfer on EMI:

Step 4A: Now here will see balance transfer on EMI so I am using the same amount as in my previous tab as you can see. Here, I will select 74,000 which I want to transfer but this time I will use balance transfer on EMI method. Selected click on continue.

Step 4B: I will select the tenure where is our requirement. As you can see, I have selected six-month, tenure and processing will be 740+ GST and the rate of interest for per month will be charged 1.13%. The monthly EMI for six months will be 12,823.49 as you can see in the below image so depending on what amount you are comfortable and what time you’re you’re comfortable choose accordingly and proceed further.

Select the Offer on the list down AND please provide the credit card details below and you can see the bank name will automatically be reflected based on the card number.

Step 4C: In this tab, all the complete details will be shown what you have selected in the previous tab, the tenure rate of interest EMI amount so that the last you can see agreed terms and condition. Just click on that and proceed further for the amount transfer.

Step 5: No matter what option you select either balance transfer or balance transfer on EMI, from here the steps will be same so please provide the OTP which you will receive on your registered, mobile number and email ID as well to proceed for balance transfer.

Step 6: As you can see in the below image, I have successfully managed to transfer the 74,000 amounts to my other credit card which is not on my number so it will take around 3 to 4 days to reflect into your other credit card.

Please keep checking on your other credit card where you have transferred this amount because in majority of the cases I have seen the amount will not get credited and the billed amount or credit card bill due will be same even after the transfer. So please make sure to check your unbilled amount, whether the amount has been credited or not?
